Popular Nigerian rapper, Keshinro Ololade, widely known as Lil Kesh, has been hospitalised following a violent robbery attack on Wednesday night in Lagos.

According to eyewitness reports, the Afrobeat star was ambushed by unidentified assailants who inflicted a stab wound to his neck and caused a serious injury to one of his ears. The attackers reportedly made away with his jewellery, estimated to be worth millions of naira.
While Lil Kesh’s management has not released an official statement, close associates have confirmed the unfortunate incident. The exact location of the attack is yet to be disclosed.
The news quickly spread across social media platforms, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing shock and offering prayers for his recovery.
One fan wrote: “This is heartbreaking. I hope he pulls through. No one deserves this.” Another added: “These attacks are becoming too frequent. The government needs to step up security.”
Lil Kesh rose to fame with hit tracks like “Shoki” and “Efejoku”, and is considered one of the defining voices of Nigeria’s street-hop sound.
